One year later? A Renaissance.

And life has changed, but has also remained much the same. Big news is that I'm leaving NYC and heading out to Oregon in September for graduate school. A rebirth of myself and my hopes for the future!

Until then, I want to keep the tunes rolling for the two followers I have going (I love you both!).

To capture the theme of "Renaissance," here's Broken Social Scene with a song from their newest album, "Forgiveness Rock Record." The song, titled "World Sick," is a sure take on the phrase "Worried sick." Political implications of the title? Perhaps a Canadian protest against international meddling...

The song is typical and atypical BSS: polyphonic, orchestral, pulsating, and rhythmic, but a stricter/more mainstream structure.
